目前，由于煤矿井下机械化程度的不断提高，加之大型开采设备的投入，使得电器设备功率不断提升，导致煤矿井下的供电量急剧增加，现有的煤矿电缆已不能满足煤矿开采的需求。
Currently, due to the continuous increase in the degree of mechanization in underground coal mines and the deployment of large-scale mining equipment, the power consumption of electrical equipment has risen steadily, leading to a sharp increase in the total power supply required for underground coal mining operations; as a result, the existing coal mine cables can no longer meet the demands of modern coal mining activities.

        为此，集团技术研发部决定研发大截面新产品来满足市场需求。集团在材料开发、工艺装备等方面投入了大量的资金，研发人员也克服了大截面、大外径电缆生产过程中遇到的各种课题，最终研制成功了煤矿用移动金属屏蔽监视型橡套软电缆（MYPTJ-8.7/10 3×240+3×70/3+3 ×2.5）。
To address this, the Group's Technical R&D Department decided to develop new large-cross-section products to meet market demand. The Group invested heavily in material development and process equipment, while R&D personnel overcame various challenges associated with manufacturing cables featuring large cross-sections and large outer diameters. Ultimately, they successfully developed the MYPTJ-8.7/10 (3×240+3×70/3+3×2.5) flexible rubber-sheathed cable with metal shielding and monitoring cores, designed for mobile use in coal mines.

        2011年8月26日，由省经济和信息化委员会组织的该新产品鉴定会在集团召开。与会专家认真听取了集团有关研制工作情况的汇报，并察看了样品和生产现场，审查了相关技术资料，经讨论和质询，鉴定委员会一致同意通过该产品的鉴定，并形成了“该新产品将满足煤矿移动变电站需要，具有绝缘性能优良、载流量大等特点，技术性能处于国内领先水平”的鉴定意见。
On August 26, 2011, a product appraisal meeting organized by the Provincial Economic and Information Commission was held at the Group. The attending experts listened carefully to the report on the product's development, inspected the samples and the production site, and reviewed the relevant technical documentation. Following discussion and questioning, the appraisal committee unanimously approved the product, concluding that it meets the requirements for mobile substations in coal mines, features excellent insulation properties and high current-carrying capacity, and represents a leading level of technical performance within China.

        2011年10月8日，经过审核，绿宝电缆（集团）有限公司新研制的煤矿用移动金属屏蔽监视型橡套软电缆（MYPTJ-8.7/10 3×240+3×70/3+3 ×2.5）成功入选2011年安徽省新产品（第三批）名单，并获得了由省经济和信息化委员会颁发的《安徽省新产品》证书。
On October 8, 2011, following a review process, the newly developed flexible rubber-sheathed cable for coal mines—featuring movable metal shielding and monitoring capabilities (Model MYPTJ-8.7/10 3×240+3×70/3+3×2.5)—produced by Lvbao Cable (Group) Co., Ltd. was successfully included in the 2011 Anhui Province New Product List (Batch 3) and awarded the "Anhui Province New Product" certificate by the Provincial Economic and Information Commission.
